Thorough Coverage

Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing in Framingham has signed on with Atlantic Beverage Distributors for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This move will help Exhibit ‘A’ increase its distribution footprint and expand its on- and off-premise retail accounts.

“We know that Atlantic is going to provide the professional, white-glove service that we want for our beer and that our customers have come to expect from us,” said Matthew Steinberg, co-founder and head brewer at Exhibit ‘A’. “We know they will treat our beer just as good as we do.”

Just in time for spring, Exhibit ‘A’ releases Tart Reform, #4 in the Full Disclosure Bottle Series, a Belgian-style “table beer” aged for one year in Caledonia Spirits Tom Cat Gin oak barrels and finished with lime purée.

Cheers to Fifteen

Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis is now also the official taproom of Shoal Hope Ciderworks. Visitors to the brewery will be able to sample and enjoy at least four styles of Shoal Hope’s ciders.

“I’m committed to making my product in Provincetown,” said Rob Brosofsky, Shoal Hope’s founder and cidermaker, “and hope to someday be able to open a tasting room in town, but that can’t happen in 2019. When Beth and Todd tossed out the idea of featuring Shoal Hope Ciders in the Cape Cod Beer taproom, it seemed like a perfect interim solution.”

The Fourth Annual Cape Cod Beer Race to the Pint, a 5k/10k event to support the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, takes place April 27. The race starts and ends at the brewery and includes a pint of beer, pint glass and t-shirt for each runner plus an after-party with live music by 57 Heavy.

The Second Annual PINTwood Derby, an adult Pinewood Derby to benefit the Cape & Island Council of the Boy Scouts of America, is on May 11.
